- Point carry-over and leaderboard resets depend on individual Craftsperson configurations.
HoYoLAB has released the official announcement for the upcoming "Polyphonic Season" in Genshin Impact. The update clarifies the competitive structure for Travelers participating in Wonderlands. During the designated Play Phase, players can earn points or leaderboard scores by engaging in Wonderlands that feature ranks. However, the announcement notes that in certain Wonderlands, points and leaderboard scores cannot be earned through Room Mode. Specific earning rules depend on the configuration set by each Craftsperson for their respective Wonderland.
Outside of the Play Phase, specifically during the Preparation and Showcase Phases, Travelers may still participate in Wonderlands. Yet, no points or leaderboard scores can be accumulated during these periods. The announcement also addresses season transitions. After a season concludes, ranked Wonderlands may or may not carry over stage points to the next season. Similarly, leaderboards may reset their rankings. These specific retention and reset policies are determined by the individual Craftsperson's configuration for each Wonderland. Players are advised to check the specific settings for each Wonderland to understand how their progress will be handled across seasons.
