Genshin Impact Announces 'Void Star's Advent' Event Wish for Skirk

Genshin Impact has officially announced the upcoming 'Void Star's Advent' Event Wish, set to launch on October 13, 2026, at 18:00 Server Time. This limited-time banner will feature a significant drop-rate boost for the event-exclusive 5-star character, Skirk, who wields the Cryo element. Described as a lone swordswoman from the sea of stars, Skirk is portrayed as having gained a new perspective on her chosen path after recent events. The announcement, published on HoYoLAB, highlights her continued dedication to honing her blade in pursuit of an unfinished goal. Players are encouraged to prepare for this special training period as the new character arrives. The event marks a significant addition to the game's roster, offering players the chance to acquire Skirk through the boosted wish. As with previous limited-time banners, the availability of this specific character is tied to the duration of the 'Void Star's Advent' event. The official post serves as the primary source for these details, confirming the start date and the character's elemental affiliation. No further details regarding gameplay mechanics or story implications were provided in the initial announcement. This update follows standard HoYoLAB protocols for introducing new 5-star characters to the game.
