HoYoverse has officially scheduled maintenance for Genshin Impact to begin on September 23, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC+8). The update will introduce Version 7.1, titled "A Rekviem for the Underworld." The maintenance window is estimated to last five hours, during which servers will be offline.
To facilitate a smoother transition, pre-installation for Version 7.1 is now available. Players can download partial update resources in advance to reduce load times once the new version goes live. Following the maintenance, the development team will distribute compensation via in-game mail within five hours of the servers coming back online.
The maintenance compensation consists of 300 Primogems, calculated at 60 Primogems per hour of downtime. This reward is available to Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or above by the start of the maintenance window. Players must claim this compensation before the end of Version 7.1.
