Mitya's Best Weapons Compared: Rankings, Refinements and Upgrade Gaps
Gwisted /
Mystic Star Edict R1 leads Mitya's current weapon chart at 112.4%. Compare all 15 entries, R1 versus R5 options and what the displayed upgrade gaps actually mean.

At a glance
- Mystic Star Edict R1 leads the current chart at 112.4%.
- Dawning Frost R5, Reliquary of Truth R1 and Winter's Heavy Heart R5 sit between 107.1% and 107.6%.
- Refinement and the Widsith AVG label matter; these are supplied comparison values, not a new simulation.
Mitya's current Gwisted weapon comparison puts Mystic Star Edict R1 first at 112.4%, followed by Dawning Frost R5 at 107.6% and Reliquary of Truth R1 at 107.3%. The useful takeaway is not simply that the first weapon wins: several alternatives sit close together, while refinement changes the position of the same weapon substantially.
This analysis reads the existing guide-owner-supplied comparison, checked on October 23, 2026. It is not a new simulation and does not establish a universal ranking for every team or enemy. The screenshot above shows the first eight entries from the actual live guide; the full ranking and guide are linked under Sources.

How far ahead is the top weapon?
Mystic Star Edict R1 is 4.8 percentage points above Dawning Frost R5 on the chart. Dividing the displayed values gives an approximately 4.46% relative advantage, not 4.8% more damage. Against Etherlight Spindlelute R5, the displayed advantage is approximately 12.06%.
Those are differences within this comparison, not guaranteed increases to total team DPS. A personal weapon improvement cannot be applied unchanged to all four characters' combined damage.
The strongest listed alternatives are close
Dawning Frost R5, Reliquary of Truth R1 and Winter's Heavy Heart R5 occupy a narrow 107.1%-107.6% band. That small separation is a reason to consider what you already own and the refinements you can actually equip, rather than reading the ordering as an absolute instruction to obtain another weapon.
Starcaller's Watch R1 and A Thousand Floating Dreams R1 are also close at 105.4% and 105.1%. The writer's existing note identifies A Thousand Floating Dreams as an Elemental Mastery option that can also provide EM to teammates. That utility should be considered separately from the ordering of the displayed comparison values.
Refinement matters: compare the correct row
Dawning Frost moves from 101.6% at R1 to 107.6% at R5, approximately a 5.91% relative improvement within this chart. Winter's Heavy Heart moves from 101.4% to 107.1%, approximately 5.62%. Sacrificial Jade moves from 99.4% to 101.2%, approximately 1.81%.
An R1 copy should therefore be compared using its R1 entry, not the higher R5 row. Likewise, The Widsith's 100.1% entry is explicitly marked AVG: it should not be presented as a guaranteed result on every rotation.
What the 100% line does and does not mean
The graphic uses a 100% reference marker. It does not identify one named weapon as exactly 100%, so this article does not assign a baseline weapon or claim the percentages are absolute damage. The published chart also does not provide a complete reproducible simulation setup alongside these values; treat the ordering as the guide's supplied comparison rather than an independently reproduced benchmark.
Which weapon should you choose?
For the highest value in the current table, Mystic Star Edict R1 leads. If you own a highly refined Dawning Frost or Winter's Heavy Heart, use that exact refinement row before deciding that another option is a meaningful upgrade. For an existing Etherlight Spindlelute or Widsith build, the guide gives a useful starting comparison without requiring you to replace your weapon immediately.
