Community speculation is swirling around a recent Wuthering Waves lore video, with one user suggesting it may foreshadow significant plot developments involving Shorekeeper. Posted by u/Laplac3_21 on r/WutheringWaves, the theory draws direct parallels to the anime Guilty Crown, where the character Inori sacrifices herself and fragments into pieces. The user notes that Shorekeeper appears to fade away in the video, mirroring Inori's fate, while other silhouettes resemble the Male Rover and Shu. This speculation follows the release of the Necro Star event, which retold arcs from Rinascita, Lahai Roi, and Mengzou, though it notably omitted Honami and Jinzhou. The poster acknowledges that the video could be a "fakeout" by Kuro Games, as it is disguised as a lore entry but contains unrecognizable character silhouettes that hint at future events. While the user admits this is largely speculation, the visual cues have sparked debate among fans about the potential trajectory of the Blackshores storyline. The community remains divided on whether these are genuine teasers or mere narrative callbacks, with no official confirmation from the developers regarding Shorekeeper's ultimate fate in the upcoming content.
