Wuthering Waves TCG Collector Unveils $1,250 Card

A community member on r/WutheringWaves recently shared a significant find from the Wuthering Waves Trading Card Game. The user, identified as u/leohdayo_, revealed they acquired a card valued at $1,250. In their post, they explained that they initially found a booster box on JPFans but ended up paying a substantial amount for shipping and customs fees. Despite the high additional costs, the user expressed that they felt they got their money back due to the card's value. The post includes a photo of the card, which appears to feature the character Rover. The user noted a personal preference for the male Rover variant, suggesting they would have preferred that specific design. Additionally, the user indicated an interest in trading the card if anyone else possesses it. This post highlights the growing secondary market for Wuthering Waves TCG items, where rare or high-value cards can command significant prices. The community response to such posts often involves discussions about card values, trading opportunities, and the overall experience of collecting physical media for the game. The incident serves as a reminder of the potential financial risks and rewards associated with purchasing international booster boxes, particularly regarding unexpected shipping and customs charges.
